The world has two kinds of people, thinkers and doers. We at Rakyan Infra are of the third kind- achievers and believers which led us to start a trust in 2006 which has now become a movement- Mahavir Kalyan Trust. From the word go the mission of the trust has been- providing for the underprivileged. Education is the foundation for people to build a successful life. Thus far, our main focus has been education with some commendable work in health, hygiene and agriculture.
In the field of education, we have given wings to more than 2100 students in the villages of Jharkhand and West Bengal by providing them with quality education. Various factors like lack of easy access, financial constraints and the sheer remoteness of the villages led people from keeping away their children from getting the education they deserve, Mahavir Kalyan Trust has been taking a Holistic approach by looking after their Basic educational necessities like schools, uniforms, books & stationary, meals and even their to and fro transportation. Our efforts showed glowing results when all our students from the Batch of 2020 passed from Class 10 (CBSE) with flying colours, with one student topping with 98 percentage. With results like these, we’re motivated even more to double our efforts, to make sure that the highest quality reaches the maximum number of underprivileged children.
Mahavir Kalyan Trust has also provided many villages in Jharkhand and West Bengal with tubewells’ built and repaired ponds to provide clean water. The result has been an increase in hygiene awareness and adding a sense of comfort in the lives of the villagers who otherwise had to walk miles to fetch water. We have also provided quality seeds, tractors and also enabled quality education by the way of workshops and lectures to the farmers which has helped them tremendously to improve their yield.
Charity begins at home, but it shouldn’t just stay there. We at Mahavir Kalyan Trust are looking to continue our endeavor of impacting and changing underprivileged lives and this movement is our sole mission and vision.
